Travelling to
Porto from Canada:
From Toronto there are direct flights on Air Transat to Porto
(not every day).
Air Portugal and Air Canada fly most days via Lisbon from Toronto and
Montreal.
If you are starting at Valenca there are trains from Porto to Valenca.
Departing from Santiago:
From Santiago de Compostela there are direct buses (about 3 hours) to return
to Porto. The bus stops at the Porto Airport but, depending on the
flight time, it is usually necessary to spend the night.
OR
From Santiago it is possible to fly or take a train to Madrid and from there
fly to Canada on Air Canada.
